National Geographic Channel presents “In The Womb: Cats”

I recently received an email from, Minjae Ormes, an online promoter for the National Geographic Channel’s “In The Womb” series. She came across the Whiskers on Wednesday blog while researching online for people who might be interested in an upcoming episode, “In The Womb: Cats”, airing on January 4th (8 PM CT).

If you’ve never seen the “In The Womb” series before, I can tell you that it’s amazing. My husband and I watched the original episode when it aired and we were completely captivated. Since they’ve described it a heck of a lot better than I can, here’s the official description of the show I found on the website:

“From a single cell to a complex, self-sustaining organism, an infant goes through an incredible transformation before it even takes its first breath. With ground-breaking photography, computer graphics, and 4-D imaging, “In the Womb” reveals this amazing process.” – National Geographic Channel website

Now, the “In The Womb” series is highlighting Dogs and Cats (the Dogs episode airs first at 7 PM CT), giving us an opportunity to see our favorite companions in a way we’ve never seen them before. If you think this is something you’d be interested in watching, check your local listings and get ready to be amazed. 🙂  If you’d like to read more about the “In The Womb” series, please visit the National Geographic website.

A big thank you goes to Minjae for giving us a heads up!

See you next week and have a safe and Happy New Year!
